A Message.....
I can distinguish God when I become quiet, both outside and inside (Psalm 131:2). I hear God when I simplify my life. When I simplify my life, it seems to amplify God's voice. Simplify to amplify. There is something of God written in the human heart that enables us to know something of him and know to seek him. And, we can figure out many things about him through rational thought and by observing creation. However, to know the fullness of truth about him can only be done by his revealing that truth to us.
Belief , is the conviction that something is true. A belief can be strengthened by experience or hope and the stronger it is, the more it is resistant to change. When God gets us alone through suffering, heartbreak, temptation, disappointment, sickness, or by thwarted desires, a broken friendship, or a new friendship— when He gets us absolutely alone, and we are totally speechless, unable to ask even one question, then He begins to teach us.
