"When a woman is giving birth....."

What spoke to me this morning was.. John 16:21 "When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world." Because only a mother knows that moment of pain, of giving birth of her child. And yet, Jesus reference this experience to Him, speaking to his disciples of him leaving them but he says..John 16:22 "So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you." Mothers have that special bond, of this very experience, were the heart of our Lord is placed, were a moment of pain evaporates with the gift of precious joy.. what a comfort of solace and peace..
