" Put the Fire Out"

Inflammation has become the new epic-enter of disease, disability and death

Inflammation and the immune system
Sometimes our own healthy cells become the focus for our disease. This is because of the toxic exposure. Because, many of today's poisons in our food, are simply too strong and they overwhelm our detoxification system and enter healthy cells. These cells then become the target of disease, infection and inflammation.
Many diseases arise because our immune system becomes so overworked, that it can no longer tell the difference between healthy cells and sick cells. There for, the immune system attacks all cells of a particular type equally. This body system is never able to heal and then chronic inflammation sets in.
When a toxin overwhelms our detoxification process it will likely settle in our weakest system. This is acute inflammation, and with chronic toxicity comes the opportunity for chronic inflammation. The immune system attacks any sick cells as well as any healthy cells that looks like the sick one.
Put the fire out!
Inflammation arises because of: Toxin, Injuries, Emotional distress, Nutrient deficiency. When we move toward an alkalinity diet, we promote a better overall organ function, allowing for the release of toxins, improves mental charity and affords natural weight loss. it also profoundly improves digestion and heartburn and is a valuable safeguard against cancer.
For example, apple cider is very alkaline , while all other vinegars are acidic. You might want to upgrade to apple cider as your primary vinegar. Lime is more alkaline than lemon, so you might want to use lime, in your water and in your cooking, when possible. Brown rice has less acid then white rice, and raspberries are highly alkaline while cranberries are very acidic. And using garlic will balance that acid-alkaline balance and is very easy to add to any dish. An of course green leafy vegetables are the best alkaline food.
To prevent viruses and cancer we have to stay away from acidic foods and when the body stays alkaline, inflammation stays at bay. Our body knows when it's out of balance this is called homoeostasis when the body has too much acidic, calcium comes from our bones to help alkaline our body.

    1. Put a large, shallow roasting pan or sheet pan in the oven and pre-heat to 375 degrees. Rinse kale, and dry completely. Remove stems, and cut into pieces approximately 3-inches wide. In a large bowel, use your hands to combine the kale with the next 4 ingredients. Season to taste with your choice of suggested ingredients, coating kale evenly. When the oven is up to temperature, carefully put the kale into the hot pan, spreading it out into one layer. It will sizzle. Roast in oven for 10 minutes and then gently stir or turn the leaves. Continue roasting another 5-7 minutes until kale is crisp and dry but not too brown. Some may be chewy instead of crisp. Serve immediately.
