"The Poor Widow And The Two Mites"- Mark 12: 42-44

When God speaks to our heart about doing a random act of kindness...sometimes we have a tug-a-war with our soul. We try and reason.."What about me?" we look at what we would give up if I would do this. The poor widow gave everything she had, which were the two mites ( Mark 12: 43, 2 Cor. 8:12). The others gave out of their abundance ( Mark 12: 44, 1 John 3: 14).The heart regulates the hands.

How does giving from our heart show how God is working on our hearts? When we take the focus off our own needs and relate to our brother and sister, in their time of need, we realize God is our true source of our Blessings the whole time. God is always after the heart. Amen!
