Don’t forget…

Don’t forget…
There is a last time for everything
There will come a time when you will feed your baby for the very last time
They will fall asleep on you after a long day
And it will be the last time you ever hold your sleeping child
One day you will carry them on your hip then set them down
And never pick them up that way again
You will scrub their hair in the bath for one last time
And from that day on they will want to bathe alone
They will hold your hand to cross the road
Then will never reach for it again
They will creep into your room at midnight for cuddles
And it will be the last night you ever wake to this
One afternoon you will sing “the wheels on the bus” and do all the actions
Then never sing them that song again
They will kiss you goodbye at the school gate
The next day they will ask to walk to the gate alone
You will read a final bedtime story and wipe your last dirty face
They will run to you with arms raised for the very last time.
The thing is, you won’t even know it’s the last time
Until there are no more times. And even then, it will take you a while to realize.
So while you are living in these times, remember there are only so many of them and when they are gone, you will yearn for just one more day of them.
For one last time

I have been in a Bible study pondering what the meaning of time “God's time”, is it quiet time getting alone with God...What does the phrase “quiet time” actually mean? And what does it practically look like to spend time with God?

Most of us hit the ground running each morning and go to bed exhausted later that night. We spend our days accomplishing tasks, big and small, that keep our families and lives in order.
God spoke to me through others to get out of the dark valley of despair and start Thanking God, not for the valley I have been in because I can't see the out come, but because God knows the victory and HE defines time and space.

I was encourage of testimonies of people not able to turn to the right or to the left, when it comes to their situation, like beating yourself out of a wet paper bag. Then in God's timing the situation is resolved. For me it allows God's thoughts to be overtaken with mine. That worry about my unemployment or disability check running out, not being able to pay the rent or mortgage. Somehow God comes through, just in time when my hope is about to run out. My heart then reunites with the Lord.

Tomorrow! There is no such thing except in dreamland, for when that comes which we call tomorrow it will be today, and still for ever, today, today, today. There is no time but what is. Time was, is not, and time to come, is not.
Today is the only time we have. Happily for us, the Holy Spirit says, “TODAY IF YOU WILL HEAR HIS VOICE.” Never do I find him saying “tomorrow.”
