Emotion In The Bowels

Let's get real, think about it, Jesus was saying to his disciples whom he has been with for three years.." I'm not worth this perfume..it's a waste?"John 12:1-8. And that is how we are.. we value our bank accounts, houses, cars, anything else more valuable, than reaching down deep in our hearts to have compassion on the needy. We will always have the poor because of our heart condition..if we are so full of ourselves, how can we see others. Like when Jesus turn the five loaves and two fish into a feast for five thousand on a hill..he knew what was in the disciples hearts..wondering how are we going to be able to feed this multitude, Matthew 14:14-16...These were people who were used to skipping meals, and they certainly expected nothing. Yet Jesus had compassion on them. Did you know when Jesus puts a burden on our heart it's identifies as emotion in the bowels, or the visceral area, because anxiety and trauma and compassion and emotion have an effect on our stomachs. It hits us in the gut. Jesus felt pain, genuine emotion when he saw the needy. :"Oh, God give us a heart for the ministry, like Jesus. That whenever we see the people, rather than feeling; oh, no, why did they have to come here? Don't they know I want to be alone? That whenever we meet them, we are moved with compassion towards them. God give us a heart of compassion towards the needs of people. " Amen!
