Daniel chapter 4,Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream of a Tree

The  Lord, took me to Daniel chapter 4, were Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream of a Tree puzzled  the magicians, and people who puts man's objective first, Daniel 4:1-18.  Daniel showed King Nebuchadnezzar that he needed to show a humility to acknowledge God as Lord over all..and not rely on his own doing.. Daniel 4 :37. Other wise for seven years Nebuchadnezzar will lose his mine and act like a beast in the field, Daniel 4:28-36

The focus point of the dream is that the tree grew large and strong, with its top touching the sky, visible to the whole earth, with beautiful leaves and abundant fruit, providing food for all, giving shelter to the wild animals, and having nesting places in its branches for the birds, Nebuchadnezzar is the tree. He has become great and strong; he's greatness has grown until it reaches the sky, and he's dominion extends to distant parts of the earth.
God, comes down from heaven and cuts down the tree and destroy it, but leave the stump, bound with iron and bronze, in the grass of the field, while its roots remain in the ground. Letting him be drenched with the dew of heaven; let him live with the wild animals, until seven times pass by for him.’  Daniel 4:20-23

So my take away, the Lord had spoke to my own heart is....are we prepared to let God take us into total oneness with Himself, paying no more attention to what we call the great things of life? Are we prepared to surrender totally and let go? The true test of abandonment or surrender is in refusing to say, “Well, what about this?” Beware of our own ideas and speculations. The moment we allow ourselves to think, “What about this?” we show that we have not surrendered and that we do not really trust God. But once we do surrender, we will no longer think about what God is going to do. Abandonment means to refuse ourselves the luxury of asking any questions. If we totally abandon ourselves to God, He immediately says to us, “I will give your life to you as a prize . . . .” The reason people are tired of life is that God has not given them anything— they have not been given their life “as a prize.” The way to get out of that condition is to abandon ourselves to God. And once we do get to the point of total surrender to Him, we will be the most surprised and delighted person on earth. God will have us absolutely, without any limitations, and He will have given us our life. If we are not there, it is either because of disobedience in our life or our refusal to be simple enough. Thanks for listening..

The Good News said…
Did you ever get in a mood? Were you were so sad, so depress, that no one can say or do anything to change your mood? Well..God gave me a dream, were He reunited me with a love one that is now in heaven. The dream, was so fresh and new, reviving those special moments growing up..only now that I realize in the rear-view mirror how special those precious moments, really are now. I didn't want to wake up.
Tears fill my soul right now, one of those cries that I have never experienced..with both joy and the longing only God can comfort, because of the depth of the heart's needs. When someone you love dies, and you're not expecting it, you don't lose them all at once; you lose them in pieces over a long time -- the way the mail stops coming, and their scent fades from the room and even from the clothes in their closet and drawers. Gradually, you accumulate the parts of them that are gone. Just when the day comes -- when there's a particular missing part that overwhelms you with the feeling that their gone, forever -- there comes another day, and another specifically missing part...
