"Mary Did You Know?"

..I was reading the Christmas story this morning in Luke 2: 1-20..and when I came across Luke 2:19.."But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart." The Holy Spirit hit me hard with the position, Mary must of felt. As a new mother she realized she lost all control. She laid the evidences together, and kept them in her heart, to be compared with the discoveries that should afterwards be made to her. She had to leave everything to God and it is satisfaction enough to find that, if no one else takes notice of the birth of her child, angels do. This is tough, because the mother only sees the child as an extension of herself. Mary, would have to be able to be aware of and in touch with your own feelings so that she can push them aside and get in touch with God’s thoughts and feelings, since He came as a baby. To have the love of a mother to see her son die, did those ponder thoughts resurface when she watched her son take his last breath as she saw him take His first breath.
